| Q: When I enter my UserName and Password, the system keeps telling me that this is the incorrect login information. |
Return to Top |
A:
This occurs for one of three reasons:
- You are in fact entering the wrong username and/or password. This often happens when students reach Module 4. There is an assignment in Module 4 that directs students to the ‘Your Information’ section of the e-PRO course to update their e-PRO roster information. This page includes fields for you to change your username and password. If you changed them in the course, you will need to input the NEW username and password. Sometimes this happens when the numeral one is confused with a lowercase L (1 vs l) or O’s with zeros (O vs 0) in the eMail containing login information. If you think this could be the case, try to copy and paste the information from the eMail directly into the login fields.
- You are letting windows ‘auto-fill’ your password and windows is remembering a wrong password. To fix this, simply delete whatever windows auto-fills are displayed and type your password in manually. If the passwords don’t match up, windows will tell you with a pop up. Be sure to tell windows to remember the NEW password you just input after it is accepted.
- You need to clear your cache. To do this, go to your ‘Tools’ menu in Internet Explorer and select ‘Internet Options’. Next, click the button that says ‘Delete Files’ (if another window pops up, simply hit ‘Okay’). Once your hourglass goes away (this can take up to about two minutes) click ‘Okay’ then close Internet Explorer. Re-open Internet Explorer, go to http://eProNAR.com and hit ‘Log On’ to try again.

A:
You are likely accessing the course via a shortcut on your desktop. Desktop shortcuts that go directly to http://eProNAR.com often save only the inner frame of the page, they don’t allow you to see the navigation buttons (which is very important). Delete your desktop ‘Favorite’ and simply access the course via a ‘Favorite’ within Internet Explorer that goes directly to http://eProNAR.com.

A:
This can be fixed by editing your browser settings. Internet Explorer is remembering the buttons from the previous screen, and not pulling new information for the page from our server. To correct this, follow these steps:
First, clear your Internet cache:
Step 1: Open Internet Explorer
Step 2: Go to the Tools menu, then Internet Options. Go to Temporary Internet Files and click the 'Delete Files button'.
Second, give your browser the ability to accept cookies:
Step 1: Open Internet Explorer
Step 2: Go to the Tools menu, then Internet Options.
Step 3: Click on the tab at the top that says 'Privacy'.
Step 4: Slide the bar on the left down all the way so that it says 'Accept All Cookies'.
Step 5: Click 'Apply' then 'Ok'.
Third, make http://www.eProNAR.com/ a trusted site:
Step 1: Open Internet Explorer.
Step 2: Go to the Tools menu, then Internet Options.
Step 3: Click on the tab at the top that says 'Security".
Step 4: Highlight the green icon that says 'Trusted Sites'.
Step 5: Click on the 'Sites' button that highlights up after you have clicked the green icon.
Step 6: Uncheck the box that says 'Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone'.
Step 7: Type or copy/paste http://www.eProNAR.com/ in the top line and click 'Add'.
Step 8: Click 'Apply', then 'Ok'.
After all above steps have been completed, close all Internet Explorer browsers, open a new one and go to http://epronar.com and log on again.

A:
This happens when you are using a browser other than Internet Explorer (like AOL’s browser). You can fix the problem by closing the window then opening Internet Explorer. Go to http://eProNAR.com and try to log on again.

| Q:  My course has expired, how do I extend my deadline? |
Return to Top |
A: To extend your course deadline, you must first login to your e-PRO course. Once logged in, click the ‘Extend Time’ button at the top center of the screen (right next to your expiration date). Keep in mind that your course will pause where you left off upon expiration, and your extension will begin immediately upon purchase, so it is best to wait until you are ready to continue your course before purchasing an extension.
